The Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council (WSBC) proudly announces the culmination of the 14th year of its Green Masters Program®. As sustainability takes center stage in corporate strategy, the Green Masters Program continues to be a beacon for businesses seeking to prioritize and enhance their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. After nearly fifteen years of recognizing the sustainability achievements of more than 300 companies around the state, the Green Masters Program underwent a comprehensive update for 2023, marking a new era in sustainable leadership. The program now offers a holistic framework that integrates sustainability into business processes, emphasizing systemic change and the implementation of best practices for improved outcomes. Participants in the Green Masters Program are recognized based on their dedication and progress in embedding sustainability within their operations, categorizing participants into four status levels – Adapting, Advancing, Maturing, and Green Master – reflecting the degree to which sustainability has been integrated into their business model.
