Menasha Corporation President And CEO, Arthur W. Huge, Named Finalist In National Entrepreneur Award

Arthur W. Huge, president and CEO of Menasha Corporation, was named one of four national finalists for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 Award in mid-November.  Huge was among 20 U.S. business leaders who were vying for the prestigious award in the Distribution and Manufacturing category.  Earlier this year, Huge won the Ernst & Young “Turnaround” category for the Upper Midwest division.

"It’s an honor to be a finalist in the Entrepreneur award category for Distribution and Manufacturing and to share this achievement with all of Menasha Corporation’s employees,” said Arthur W. Huge.  “Several years ago, our leadership teams undertook the challenge of restructuring the company and our employees responded with great passion and interest in success of the company.  Menasha Corporation is now a much stronger company that has found very creative and innovative ways to compete in the market niches we serve.”

Now in its 22nd year, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards program honors business leaders who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

"After more than two decades, the Entrepreneur of the Year award has become one of the most prestigious business awards for entrepreneurs,” said Larry Haynes, Americas Director, Entrepreneur of the Year, Ernst & Young LLP.  “We’re proud to honor the national finalists who demonstrate extraordinary leadership and serve as catalysts for local and national change.”
