Arthur W. Huge, Menasha Corporation President And CEO, Wins Entrepreneuer Award

Arthur W. Huge, Menasha Corporation’s president and chief executive officer, won the “Turnaround” category in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year competition for the Upper Midwest division. The awards were held on June 5 in Minneapolis.
“I am honored to accept the Turnaround Award on behalf of Menasha Corporation’s leadership team,” said Huge.  “Four years ago we undertook the challenge of restructuring the company into four operating units and refocused the investment of the company’s capital.  We have found creative and innovative ways to defend Menasha Corporation’s competitive advantage in our market niches and obtain attractive margins.  Our true strength, however, is in our employees and their tremendous response to our new strategies and the passion for success we all share.”

Since Menasha Corporation’s evaluation and reorganization, it has seen significant growth in sales, earnings and shareholder value.

“Ernst & Young is pleased to honor outstanding business leaders such as Art Huge,” said Bill Miller, Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Partner.  “Winners of the Entrepreneur Of The Year award build leading businesses and contribute a great deal to the communities around them.  Their success helps our area grow stronger.”
In addition to entrepreneurs, the Ernst & Young award recognizes those who find creative ways to acquire the capital and resources needed to build and grow an established business and assume the associated risks, as well as business leaders who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
