Cortegra Group, Inc., a leading provider of printing services for the pharmaceutical industry, plans to celebrate the completion of its new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located at 15220 Foundation Avenue in Evansville, Indiana, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 25. Among the speakers will be Evansville Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel.

Cortegra began construction on the $6 million, 63,000 square-foot plant in May 2007 to expand and update the company’s current capabilities in the areas of packaging, design and printing services for labels, inserts and outserts, folding cartons, and saddle-stitched booklets.

In addition to the 3:00 p.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, local officials and Chamber of Commerce members from Evansville will be invited to tour the new building. The ISO 9001-certified and cGMP-compliant facility houses state-of-the-art printing, packaging and labeling equipment, as well as the latest scanning technologies to ensure quality control throughout the printing process.
Cortegra President, Victor L. Dixon, who will be attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony, says, “Cortegra is continuously searching for the most innovative ways to provide the highest level of secure, tamper-proof packaging and the best service in the industry to our valued pharmaceutical customers.  Our new state-of-the-art facility will allow Cortegra to offer even more to our customers by further enhancing our

manufacturing and distribution capabilities. We are happy and proud to be unveiling our new facility in the fine community of Evansville.”
Cortegra’s Evansville facility currently has more than 70 employees. In addition to its Evansville location, Cortegra also has facilities in Fairfield, New Jersey and Morrisville, North Carolina.
